Compensation: $90K – $115K+ plus bonus/incentives and benefits

In this role you will have the opportunity to join an early stage, highly funded biotechnology research company. The role will conduct research and development to engineer metabolism associated with the production of enzymes and other proteins, nucleic acids, and metabolites in a variety of platform hosts. This position will be hired at Research Scientist or Senior Research Scientist level depending on experience.

 

Pebble Labs is located in the scientific hub of Los Alamos, New Mexico and draws upon the synergy of one of the top laboratories in the United States. What is required in this role:

  • Ph.D. in Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics  or a related discipline
  • Strong foundation in biology and biological pathways
  • Experience with metabolomics and metabolic flux analysis, and metabolic modelling
  • Experience with recombinant DNA, genome editing, synthetic biology, and strain engineering
  • Demonstrable proficiency in experimental design and bench/field work including a broad range of analytical methodologies
  • Demonstrable history of applying unique and novel approaches to research challenges
