In this role you will have the opportunity to join an early stage, highly funded biotechnology research company. You’ll join a fast paced multidisciplinary group providing complete desktop support to the team and carry out company-wide software and hardware projects.

What is required in this role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or demonstratable equivalent experience.
  • 1 – 2+ years of desktop support experience
  • Experience working on Windows, MacOS, and Linux Operating Systems including desktop and laptop configuration
  • Strong problem solving experience
  • Knowledge of implementation and troubleshooting for Desktop and Network Security
  • Experience with wireless configuration, network connectivity, VPN, remote access
  • Communication impact – strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaboration – team player who thrives in a collaborative, high activity environment
  • User Interactions – Strong customer service skills

 

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of network protocols, topology, DNS, and DHCP
  • Proven experience managing work using a standard ticketing system
  • Experience creating best practices / SOP for users
  • Proactive, Self Starter
  • Systems Administration
  • Experience with Salesforce
